INTRODUCTION:
Faculties are to be equipped with some training in order to make them deal with the rapid changes and shifting paradigms in education without which chances are teaching is often reduced to faculties presenting their understanding of the subject simply by one way lecturing. FDP’s began in 1975, Mr.Jerry gaff conceptualized faculty development program to improve the teacher’s personal development, instructional development, professional development and an organizational development.
